The Deputy Minister for Finance, Thomas Nyarko-Ampem, has inaugurated a new Governing Board for the Quality Control Company Limited, with a call to sustain and enhance the premium quality of Ghana’s cocoa.
Mr Nyarko-Ampem congratulated the board members on their appointment, describing it as an opportunity to serve the nation.
He stressed that Ghana’s cocoa quality had long been the envy of many countries and urged the board to protect and strengthen this reputation.
Chairperson of the board, Dr Ransford Anertey Abbey, pledged to uphold the premium status of Ghana’s cocoa, assuring stakeholders that the country would continue to adhere to international best practices and maintain the highest quality standards in the industry.
