Held at the prestigious Accra City Hotel, Ghana, the event brought together thought leaders, industry experts, and business executives to explore the transformative potential of AI in driving business growth and development.

The Guest Speaker, Abel Lomotey Daitey, Chief Information Officer at GCB Bank, emphasised the importance of embracing AI to drive business innovation and sustainability. He said, ''AI is a game changer, and its integration into business processes will determine the success of businesses, making it the survival of the smartest.'' Other distinguished speakers also participated in interactive panel discussions and spoke about the changing force of AI.
Kojo Amissah - Lead Executive and Principal Consultant at CITAM, spoke about the realities businesses will face with AI. He said, ''AI will take a considerable number of jobs away; Organisations will have to reduce their workforce size due to automation.'' He indicated that 'AI will generate new employment opportunities, requiring human input to succeed in these roles. Therefore, individuals must embrace a culture of continuous learning and enhance their skills to stay relevant."
On her part, Anita Arthur - Director, Human Resources, CFAO Ghana Plc., said, ''People should stop resisting AI and start embracing it. AI is a tool that complements the workforce. While AI analyses large amounts of data to help humans make informed decisions, employees can focus more on complex problem-solving tasks and critical thinking.'
On the engaging panel discussion, Kwadwo Ntim - GM of Technology & Operations/CIO, Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GhIPSS), said, ''The value of AI to businesses is significant and encouraged organisations to consider AI in terms of its value to the business, aligning its business processes, goals, and objectives to increase productivity and work efficiency.'
Another panelist, Esi Mmirba Wilson - Director People and Transformation Consolidated Bank of Ghana (CBG), said, ''AI helps empower business growth by generating and analysising more data, providing detailed insights into developing customer journeys and personas. This makes it easier for organisations to partner with other businesses, leading to business growth.'
The event facilitated meaningful connections and collaborations through dedicated networking sessions, allowing participants to engage with peers and industry leaders, fostering an environment of learning and partnership.
