Enterprise Trustees Limited, the Leading Corporate Trustee in Ghana, has held a private equity seminar as part of the Corporate Trustees’ responsibility to train its Scheme Board members.
The event, held at the company’s new corporate Head Office Advantage Place on Wednesday 11th July 2018, brought together Scheme Board Members from Enterprise Trustees’ Master Trust Schemes as well as Scheme Board Members from Employer Sponsored Schemes.
The Executive Director for Enterprise Trustees, Mr. Joseph Ampofo expressed the company’s commitment to ensuring that funds are managed effectively to the benefit of members.
“As the leading corporate trustee, we owe the responsibility to our members to safeguard their funds and manage them prudently by adhering to the National Pensions Regulatory Authority’s requirements in training our scheme board members. We maintain our key promise to create wealth for scheme members for their retirement.”
The session was facilitated by Injaro Investments and Oasis Capital.
Speaking on the importance of the seminar, Mr. Jerry Parkes from Injaro Investments reiterated the need for scheme board members to identify alternative investment opportunities outside the traditional investment options such as private equity, hedge funds and venture capital that will generate significant profits when adequately funded and well managed.
