At the G20 summit, Chinese Finance Minister, Xie Xuren, called for increased coordination in international economic policy, in order to defeat protectionism and promote international trade and investment.
Xie said all countries should cooperate in maintaining sustainable exchange rates and reserves, to reduce the risk of global inflation. He said China will continue its active fiscal monetary policy, while adjusting its economic structure and developing its economy.
Xie said China will also make efforts to boost incomes and improve livelihoods, and continue to contribute to the world's rapid, sustainable and balanced economic development.
