Rotary International under its Gift of Life
International (GOLI) Project on Monday promised to support two children with hole-in-heart to undergo surgery in the United States.

Dr Juliette Tuakli, Chairman of GOLI announced this at the weekly meeting of Rotary Club of Accra in Accra.
She said under the project, the Club in 2010 sponsored Benedith Yaw Kodua to the US for heart surgery.
Dr Tuakli said over the years, GOLI had focused on four basic principles; to increase the capacity of existing GOLI programmes to help children in need, promote the initiation of new GOLI programmes, develop partnerships with other
non-governmental organisations to support many children as possible, and propagate GOLI programmes worldwide.
Mr Sam Brandful, President of Rotary Club of Accra said Rotary International, the world's first service club organisation had more than 1.2
million members in 33,000 clubs.
He explained that members are volunteers who work to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace and the eradication of poliomyelitis.
