Prime Minister Antonis Samaras was to travel to Qatar Tuesday for a visit aimed at securing badly needed investment for Greece's crippled economy.
He would be accompanied by the ministers of development and defence and a business delegation.
Samaras is to hold talks with his counterpart and officials from the emirate's sovereign wealth fund to discuss investment opportunities in state companies and the tourism in Greece.
He postponed the trip to Doha in November, when Athens was negotiating a further bailout with international lenders.
Qatar Holding recently invested 1.2 billion euros (1.6 billion dollars) in a gold mining operation in northern Greece.
Last week Qatar unexpectedly withdrew from a multi-billion-euro tender to develop Hellinikon airport in the Athens.
