Britain can't "cherry-pick" areas of participation in the EU, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said Wednesday, and urged the country to stay in the 27-member bloc.
"Not all and everything must be decided in and by Brussels," he said, but added that "cherry-picking is not an option."
Westerwelle said "Germany wants the United Kingdom to remain an active and constructive part of the EU," adding that "we do not need less but more integration."
