Sports Minister Kofi Iddie Adams isn’t overly convinced with the performance of Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars.
Citing Ghana’s failure to qualify to the upcoming AFCON tournament, the Minister confessed that he isn’t impressed with what he has seen from the team so far.
Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show, the Sports Minister said that Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has taken responsibility for the performances.
Despite Otto Addo leading Ghana to the summit of Group I and in pole position to qualify to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Sports Minister says there is a lot of room for improvement.
“Very soon AFCON will start in Morocco. Is Ghana going to be there? No.”

“We have not qualified for the World Cup yet…so if I tell you that I am impressed then it means that I don’t know my job. I am not; There is a lot of room for improvement” Kofi Adams said.
