The Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, has reiterated the Authority’s commitment to providing sustained support to Ghana’s national armwrestling team, the Golden Arms, following their recent achievements.
Dr. Bampoe described the team’s accomplishments as a source of national pride after their impressive medal haul. He recalled the 2023 Africa Games, where the team’s remarkable performance eclipsed the rest of Africa and won nationwide admiration.
He stated that, in line with its support for corporate Ghana, the NHIA is committed to investing in armwrestling to help the Ghana Armwrestling Federation’s mission of making the sport one of the leading disciplines in the country.
NHIA’s Deputy Chief Executive for Operations, Dr. Senanu Djokoto, also praised the team’s leadership and performance, reaffirming the Authority’s readiness to deepen the partnership.
