The union between Black Stars forward Andre Dede Ayew and French Ligue 1 side Le Havre AC is set to continue after Ayew signed for the club to play another season in the top flight.
The announcement was made in the lead up to Le Havre’s league game against Brest on Saturday, October 5 at 15:00 GMT.
The game is the last outing for both teams before the international break with Le Havre in search of a win to end its losing streak that stands at three at the time of writing.
Ayew rejoined Le Havre as a free agent after he was let go by the club at the end of the 2023-2024 season after bagging six goals in 20 games in all competitions.
The former Olympique Marseille player’s contribution was key in Le Havre’s successful stay in the top flight after flirting with relegation for most parts of the campaign.

Ayew’s will miss the tie against Brest but could possibly make his debut on his return to Le Havre against Olympique Lyon after the international break on October 20.
Dede Ayew wasn’t included in the Black Stars squad to play against Sudan in a 2025 AFCON double header on October 10 and 15.
