Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew says it will be strange for him to play against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. He said this in the lead up to the English Premier League clash on Saturday, September 14 at 14:00 GMT.
Jordan Ayew moved to Leicester City from Palace on the final day of the 2024 main transfer window in August and has featured in two EPL games since. He scored in Leicester’s 4-0 win over Tranmere Rovers in the Carabao Cup.
Speaking on the game, Ayew alluded to the connection he had with Palace for the “strange” emotions he will have at Selhurst Park.
“It will be strange because I was there for six years and it was my home. Obviously I’m going to meet a lot of people who I didn’t get to say goodbye to properly and it’s going to be emotional and mixed feelings, but I have to defend my new colours.”
