Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has stated that AJ Auxerre midfielder Elisha Owusu’s availability for Ghana’s tie against Angola is questionable.
Ghana’s Black Stars take on Angola on Thursday, September 14 at the Baba Yara Stadium with the 2025 AFCON qualifier scheduled to kick off at 16:00 GMT.
Speaking in a pre-game presser, Otto Addo, shed light on late arrivals to the Black Stars camp including Owusu and Leicester City forward Jordan Ayew.
On Owusu, Addo was skeptical about his chances of playing against Angola due to a muscular problem with the head coach stating,
“I hope they will be okay especially with Elisha, some muscle problems. After training, the doctor will talk to them and see how they are feeling. So there is a little bit of question mark to be honest but hope it will be okay especially on Elisha.”
