Spanish giants FC Barcelona have completed the signing of 18-year-old Abdul Aziz Issah from Ghanaian club Dreams FC on transfer deadline day.
The talented winger, who has been recognized by CAF as one of the continent's brightest young stars, is set to join the ranks of Barça Atlètic.
Issah's remarkable performances in the CAF Confederation Cup last season put him on the radar of several top clubs. He emerged as the competition's top scorer, netting four goals and providing two assists in just 10 games, playing a pivotal role in helping Dreams FC reach the semi-finals—a historic achievement for the club. Although they fell short to Egyptian giants Zamalek, Issah's impact was undeniable.
In the Ghana Premier League, Issah contributed to 17 goals last season, scoring seven and assisting 10. He also made his mark in the FA Cup, where he scored four goals in five matches. His performances on the national stage were equally impressive, as he played a key role in the Ghana U20 team's gold medal victory at the Africa Games.
Having risen through the youth ranks at Dreams FC, Issah's move to Barcelona marks a significant milestone for both the player and the club. The transfer announced by Dreams FC on Twitter is seen as a testament to his potential and hard work. He becomes the second Ghanaian talent to join Barcelona this transfer window, following 18-year-old left-back David Oduro from Accra Lions, who recently signed a three-year contract with Barça Atlètic.
Issah's journey from Dreams FC to one of the world's most prestigious football clubs underscores the growing recognition of African talent on the global stage.

Fans and pundits alike will be eager to see how he develops under Barcelona's renowned training system.
