Brighton and Hove Albion have signed Dutch defender Marit Auee from FC Twente.
Auee, 22, arrives at Amex Stadium having won the Eredivisie title, the Dutch FA Cup, two Super Cups and two League Cups during her spell with FC Twente.
"Marit is a promising young talent and already has many accolades playing in the Eredivisie," said Brighton managing director Zoe Johnson.
"We're excited to see what she can add to the team in the season ahead as well as her own development within the group."
The defender began her career in 2018 with Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle before joining Dallas Baptist University Athletics in the United States two seasons later.
She returned to PEC Zwolle before signing for FC Twente.
