Referee Charles Benle Bulu has been handed the CAF Confederation Cup game between Sporting de Gagnoa of Cote d’Ivoire and JS Saoura of Algeria.
Bulu, 36, has established himself as one of the best referees on the local scene who has previously handled some high-profile international games.
He was recently in the news when he collapsed while officiating in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Cote d’Ivoire and Ethiopia after he lost consciousness and collapsed in the 80th minute and had to be stretched off at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny.
The game is scheduled to be played at the Stade Yamoussoukro.
He is expected to be assisted by Paul Kodzo Atimaka and Tijani Mohammed with Abdul Latif Qadiri appointed as the fourth referee.
Claude Mahounou Paqui of Benin will be the Match Commissioner.
