Kumasi Kotoko were in their prime, when they returned to winning ways with an emphatic 3-0 win over Eleven Wonders at the Techiman Children's Park in match day three of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalisation Special Cup.
Fatawu Shafiu opened the scores from a brilliant free-kick before skipper Amos Frimpong headed into the net from close range to double the lead.
Evans Owusu then put the game beyond the reach of home side, Wonders, when he scored Kotoko’s third in the 63rd minute.
The win puts Kotoko on top of the Zone A table after three games.
Meanwhile their bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak recorded a second straight away defeat in five days following a 1-0 loss to Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Park in Anyinase.
Solomon Sarfo Taylor's 42nd-minute goal, worked the trick for Karela to secure all three points.
