The Super Falconess of Nigeria advanced to the finals of the Africa Women Cup of Nations, after grueling semi finals encounter against their Cameroonian counterparts, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Nigerians won through penalty shoot-out after the 90 minutes ended goalless as the two giants battled for supremacy.
Nigeria won 4-2 on penalties, after converting all their kicks, through Onome Ebi, Rasheedat Ajibade, Oshoala Assisat and Ngozie Ebere.
Cameroon on the other hand, converted two of their kicks through Ajara Nchout and Ranssa Feudjio, whilst Marie Nwona and Bennedette Ngo failed to convert their kicks.
Nigeria, eight times champions have already qualified for the world cup in France and would wait to annex the ninth trophy in women’s football history.
