Two Ghanaian boxing talents, will this weekend mount the ring at the indoor hall of the Bukom Boxing Arena, to decide who becomes the best Super Bantamweight boxer in Africa.
Champion Isaac Sackey, who is making his first title defence, since beating veteran Richmond Commey for the crown in Ghana would put his title at stake, as he battles Wasiru Mohammed, who also fought his way up by defeating same Commey.
Both boxers are undefeated with the experienced Sackey having an impressive record 23 bouts, with 22 victories, out of which 19 were knockouts, with just a draw.
Wasiru Mohammed, also known as "Gyatabi" on the other hand, has won all his 11 fights, with nine knockouts and would definitely pose a major threat to Sackey in the fight that is expected to be full of fire works.
Though the odds favour, Sackey, based on his fight records and experience, Mohamed, could also pull a surprise, in a fight that is expected to be full of fire works.
According to the organisers, tickets would go for 100ghc for VVIP, 50ghc for Ringside and 20ghc for Regular seats.
Meanwhile a press conference and weighing to introduce the boxers for the WBO Africa Super Bantamweight Championship, would be held at the Alisa hotel on Friday morning.
The bill being put up by E & J Promotions, with some exciting under cards which boxing fans can not miss.
