Kwesi Appiah, head coach of the senior national team, the Black Stars, is confident of securing second victory over the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group F, qualifier at the Moi International Sports Stadium, Nairobi Kenya.
After thumping Ethiopia 5-0, in 2017, the Black Stars coach believes the Kenyans, would be a very difficult hurdle to upstage, especially on their home grounds, but added that, they were tactically prepared for the battle.
"We preparing very well to give out of our best, to get a win. It is not going to be easy because they have invited lots of foreign players and with their supporters behind them, they would give us a tough match.
"I have been monitoring them for sometime now and i am ready to take them on," he added.
Touching on their camp base in Ethiopia, coach Appiah said, "we came to Ethiopia purposely to acclimatize and so far so good and almost all the players are here and we going through with our programs.
"Most of the players in the team I know already, the only new player is William Owusu who is so doing well," Appiah said.
Meanwhile, Kwadwo Asamoah, Christian Atsu and Ebenezer Ofori joined the team on Tuesday, bringing a total 19 out the 20 players in camp.
Harrison Afful, is expected to join the Black Stars, by the close of Wednesday.
