Nigeria's ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is recording better performance as more results of the last Saturday's National Assembly Elections have been released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In oil rich Nigera's Akwa Ibom State, the PDP has won the two senatorial seats in the National Assembly election held in Akwa Ibom State on Saturday.
The PDP also won seven of the eight federal constituency seats which have been announced.
In northeast Nigeria's Adamawa State, the PDP has clinched two of the three senatorial seats.
The PDP also won four of the eight House of Representative seats the results of which have so far been released in the state.
In northwest Nigeria's Zamfara State, the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) has won two senatorial seats and three federal House of
representatives seats while the ruling PDP won one senatorial seat and one House of Representatives slot.
The PDP in Cross River has won five additional House of Representatives seats in the National Assembly polls conducted on Saturday.
The results announced in northern Sokoto State showed that the PDP won all the 11 federal constituencies and two senatorial seats.
