Former Tunisian President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali was in a serious condition in a Jeddah hospital in Saudi Arabia, local reports said Thursday.
The ousted president had suffered a stroke and was in a coma, Le Quotidien newspaper reported.
No official confirmation had been made to the report.
Ben Ali, 74, fled the country on Jan. 14 after a upheaval against his 23-year rule.
