The Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the People’s National Convention (PNC) under the chairmanship of Mr Basili Wasai on Wednesday asked the Party’s members and supporters to organise People’s forums at various party constituency offices every two weeks.
It said in a statement signed by Mr Wasai, Chairman of the IMC, that those meetings should discuss matters on the Party’s development and other political and economic issues.
The Committee recommended that these meetings should be held between 1000 and 1200 hours on the first and last Saturdays of the month.
It said issued to be discussed could be how to eliminate fraud and cheating at the Party’s constituency, regional and national congress elections.
The PNC is split between Mr Wasai’s IMC and the current executives.
