Parliament on Friday paid its last respect to Ms Theresa Tagoe, a former Member of Parliament.
The remains of the New Patriotic Party legislator from Ablekuma South who would be laid to rest tomorrow was brought to the House for members to pay their last respect.
Members who were fully clad in black apparel with red bands around their necks filed past her remains.
Prof Michael Oquaye, Second Deputy Speaker, eulogised her for devoting her all for the course of women and children.
He said she sacrificed her comfort and served her nation well.
Mr Doe Adjaho, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, said Ms. Tagoe stood for democracy in all her political career.
He said she normally reminded her political opponents that they were opponents in politics not political enemies.
Mr Cletus Avoka, Majority Leader, said she was a woman of courage and determination and ensured that things were done in the right way.
He noted that she spared nobody in her criticisms adding that Ghana had lost an important person.
