Nana Yaw Wiredu, Assembly Member for Ahinsan Estate, in Kumasi, who is seeking re-election, has pledged to sustain the socio-economic development of the area.
He told Ghana News Agency (GNA) that he had ensured the improvement of the water situation in the area through the construction of a mechanized borehole,
upgrading of the street illumination system, reduction in crime and good sanitation.
Nana Wiredu also said he contributed to the completion of a kindergarten and community centre at a total cost of GH�42,000.00, and the construction of foot bridges to link the area to Atonsu.
The candidate said he had paid Health Insurance premium for 150 people and donated wheel chairs to the local clinic.
Nana Wiredu said he collaborated with ZoomLion Ghana Limited, a sanitation company, Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly and private companies to secure jobs for more than 500 young people.
