The Greater Accra Region branch of the Tertiary Educational Institutions (TEIN) has reaffirmed its "unflinching faith" in the government of President John Evans Atta Mills.
In a statement signed by Dr David Sunu, President of the branch, TEIN said: "Mr President, we appreciate your immense contribution to the improvement of the country. "
The statement released on Wednesday urged the youth to join hands with the Mills Administration, "so that together , we can build a Better Ghana".
TEIN also congratulated the founder and former President Jerry John Rawlings for being listed among Africa's 50 most iconic figures by the African Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation.
"This we believe is an overwhelming endorsement of the achievements of the NDC (National Democratic Congress) government and the potency of our party ideology today," it said.
