Mr Abass Fuseini, Fanteakwa District Chief Executive (DCE), on Thursday paid a familiarization visit to Akim Osino to interact with the people and see how best to find solutions to their problems.
He told the people that government was determined to improve their conditions and urged them to remain loyal to the government.
Mr Fuseini announced that the District Assembly had presented 10 computers to the Osino Presby Primary and Junior High Schools.
It had also constructed a three-unit block for the Local Catholic Primary School and renovated the Methodist Primary School.
He mentioned other projects being undertaken in the town such as the provision of street lights, tarring of roads, construction of KVIP for the
Anglican Primary School and the sinking of bore-holes.
Mr Fuseini appealed to the people to maintain a clean environment to avoid the outbreak of communicable diseases.
During an open forum, the people appealed to the District Assembly to provide speed ramps in the area to check over speeding and help reduce the
rate of road accidents.
