Mr Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ejisu-Juaben, has urged government to focus on job creation to bring hope to the increasing unemployed youth.
He said Ghanaians wanted to see concrete interventions implemented to make life better for them.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Ejisu on Monday, the MP said in spite of the claim that the economy has stabilized the situations of the
people kept worsening.
He said there was the need for more pro-poor policy measures to give some respite to the majority poor.
Mr Owusu-Aduomi asked Ghanaians to uphold the country's constitutional democracy by respecting the rule of law.
They should also be more tolerant of their political opponents to prevent unnecessary tension and division.
The MP said it was by so doing that Ghana would continue to attract the needed foreign investments to grow the economy.
He encouraged members and supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to remain steadfast and organize towards re-capturing political power in
election 2012.
He said one year into Mills Administration clearly showed that the "better Ghana" promise was a mirage.
Mr Owusu-Aduomi said he had no doubt Ghanaians would vote out the NDC government come 2012.
