The New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2024 Election Review Committee has pledged that its work will reflect the views of all stakeholders of the party as the committee approaches the conclusion of its public engagement.
Consequently, the committee has extended an invitation to all party members and supporters to visit the party’s headquarters at Asylum Down in Accra to share their insights on the recent election outcome.
This, the committee said, was to ensure inclusivity, a statement signed and issued by the Secretary to the committee, William Yamoah, said.
“In the spirit of inclusivity, we invite all members and supporters of the NPP to visit the party’s headquarters and present both written and oral information deemed critical for the committee’s work. A team from the committee will be available from Monday, March 17, to Friday, March 21, 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to share their perspectives on all relevant matters,” it said.
The committee said it has also completed its nationwide tour, gathering valuable insights and outcomes from all the 16 regions of the country.
"We are pleased to report that our various teams have successfully completed their nationwide tour, yielding valuable insights and outcomes," the statement said.
"We acknowledge the diverse perspectives expressed by party members regarding the 2024 elections, and we extend our sincere gratitude for the contributions,” it said.
The statement said the committee has carefully documented these viewpoints expressed by party members and has conducted randomised surveys to gather more information.

The NPP's decision to form a review committee follows the party’s defeat in the 2024 general election, where the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, President John Dramani Mahama, secured 56.55 per cent of the valid votes cast.
The committee, chaired by Prof. Mike Oquaye, a former Speaker of Parliament, is to conduct a thorough analysis of the election outcome and provide recommendations for future improvements.
