Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong, Paramount Chief of the Agogo Traditional Area, has endorsed the Bawumia-Opoku-Prempeh ticket, offering his blessings for their success in the 2024 general elections.

He emphasized his long-standing relationship with Dr. Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, who is the running mate of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer. The Omanhene expressed his support, along with that of his people, for the duo.

The chief also pledged his support to NAPO and the NPP, encouraging them to pursue infrastructural developments in the area as they see fit.

These remarks were made during a courtesy call by NAPO to the chief’s palace on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, as part of his campaign tour in the Asante Akyem North constituency of the Ashanti Region.

“This palace belongs to you as well, thanks for honouring us, you are not new to us, you are my nephew. We are one people, the town belongs to you and me, and we’re managing the town together.

“On behalf of my people, I give you my support to undertake any infrastructural developments deemed fit for our town. I give you my blessings, I pray to God to help you in your endeavour.”
