A British parliamentary committee has criticised the government's asylum policy, saying there was no evidence that sending migrants to Rwanda would deter people from crossing the Channel in small boats.
The British government insists the plan will stop such dangerous journeys but the cross-party committee said ministers were putting forward "quick fix solutions".
Britain announced in April an agreement with Rwanda to send some migrants there but no one has yet been flown out because of a series of legal challenges.
