Concerns are growing over the whereabouts of sacked Tunisian Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi, who has not appeared in public or spoken to the media since his dismissal on 25 July.
Some media outlets say he has also not been in contact with his family since he was fired.
A hashtag in Arabic asking: "Where is Hichem Mechichi?" is trending - with some expressing their anger about his reported "disappearance".
Some unconfirmed reports say Mr Mechichi was "beaten up" in the presidential palace before he agreed to resign following President Kais Saied's decision to dismiss the government and suspend parliament.
In a post on his Facebook page on 26 July, Mr Mechichi denied being assaulted - and said he was ready to hand over to his successor once appointed by the president.
But he has not appeared in public nor has he spoken to the media since then - with some reports saying he might be in detention or house arrest.
