Violent protests continued in South Africa overnight and on Monday morning over the jailing of former president Jacob Zuma.
A mall in Pietermaritzburg,in KwaZulu-Natal province was set on fire on Monday morning amid looting and destruction of properties which continued on Monday morning.

Dozens of people have been arrested and roads have been blocked as the security forces deal with the ongoing violence.
The protests are continuing as the constitutional court hears Zuma's appeal against his imprisonment for contempt.
The court is holding a review of its decision with a ruling expected later on whether the sentence will be upheld.
