He said the President has done a lot for the people in terms of infrastructural development in the Region and beyond and needed additional four years to do more to enhance their living standard.

Mr Boye made the appeal in a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday.

He said the Nana Akufo-Addo led government has provided many constituencies in the Region and beyond asphalt roads, which had reduce stress and travelling time.

"We have witnessed the Tema motorway roundabout being completed, the construction of the Pokuase and Obetsebi Circle projects. The construction of 84 kilometre railway line from Tema Port to Akosombo steadily progressing and when completed will facilitate efficient transportation," he said.

He said work has started on the Ningo Prampram sea defence wall to save life and property; and as part of government's efforts to improve the living standard of fishing communities, modern landing sites were being constructed along the coast in the Region.

Mr Boye mentioned Teshie Sangonaa in the Ledzokuku Constituency and James Town in the Odododiodoo Constituency as some of the beneficiaries of the projects, which include the provision of cold stores, clinics, among others.

"On completion of the projects, local canoes at sea will land safely and the lives and properties of our hard-working fishermen will be saved, more jobs will be created and livelihood of the people in the communities will be enhanced," he said.

Mr Boye said through the Coastal Development Authority outboard motors have been distributed to fishermen in the communities along the coast in the Greater Accra Region, adding that; "The Authority is also under taking numerous developmental projects in all the constituencies in the Region.

He said the Kesseh community in the Ada East Constituency had benefitted from the construction of a modern market, U-drains have been provided across the Ledzokuku Constituency, while playing ground, aged home and a recreational centre have been provided in Tema East Constituency.

On energy, Mr Boye said: "You will all recall that between 2012 and 2016, the whole country was in darkness called 'Dumsor.' Greater Accra Region was the most affected. As a result, businesses including restaurants, the hospitality industry, workshops, manufacturing companies and other institutions almost collapsed".

"Nana Akufo-Addo in the first quarter of his administration took the bull by the horn and fixed the energy crisis," he said.'He said the President in his campaign message to the people promised Ghanaians Free Senior High School when voted into office and "True to his promise, immediately after given the mandate by the good people of Ghana he implemented the Free SHS programme. Today we are all benefitting from the Free SHS policy."

Mr Boye said the people of Kpone Katamanso have been provided with an Astroturf, fitness centre and a medical centre while Shai-Osudoku had benefited from a three-classroom block.
