Kenyan lawmakers will next week take a short recess to shoot their #JerusalemaDanceChallenge video.

The Jerusalema song by South African musician Master KG has spawned dance videos across the globe.

Kenya's leader of majority in parliament, Amos Kimunya, is quoted as saying the Speaker and all heads of departmental committees will be lead other parliamentarians in the dance challenge.

He said the video will highlight parliament's work and show solidarity with victims of the coronavirus pandemic.

Jennifer Shamalla, a nominated MP, has tweeted a video of her colleagues rehearsing for the challenge.
