South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa has praised young entrepreneurs for finding solutions to challenges brought by the coronavirus pandemic.
The president said young people had spotted a "silver lining" during the difficult times and offered home-grown solutions.

In his weekly newsletter, President Ramaphosa singled out businesses that had started during the pandemic.
He lauded young people who opened a bicycle delivery service to transport goods from shops to people's homes.

The president also mentioned entertainers who hosted watch parties on online platforms during the lockdown.

The president said the economy cannot wait until the pandemic is over to recover adding that "it needs to start now".
The country has 364,328 confirmed cases of coronavirus including 5,033 deaths.
