Joshua Akamba, the National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed optimism of victory for the NDC in this year’s presidential and parliamentary elections.
He indicated that the party would capitalise on the failed promises of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and campaign vigorously to win this year’s elections in a resounding manner.
Mr Akamba observed that the citizenry had realised they were deceived by the NPP and were willing to vote massively for the NDC to transform the economy and create jobs and wealth for them.
“Per grounds work done by the NDC, the NPP will lose this year’s elections miserably because they deceived Ghanaians to come into power and have failed them which included the one-district-one-factory, one-village-one-dam, one million per constituency, planting for food and jobs, rearing animals for export and other flagship policies, programmes and interventions of the NPP have not been fulfilled to the expectations of the people.
“The NDC is the only alternative to provide the citizenry an exceptional leadership, accountable, transparent governance and the competence to transform the lives of the citizenry which has been proven by the three years in governance of the NPP and there is the need to punish the government for failing to deliver on their 2016 campaign promises,” Mr Akamba posited.
