The Ghana Investment and Electronic Communication (GIFEC) has presented 10 desktop computers and accessories valued at about GH¢ 20,000 in support of the Faith Assemblies of God Senior High School (SHS) at Tafo-Nhyiaeso in Kumasi.
These are meant to help enhance the teaching and learning of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
Ms Memuna Abubakr Siddique Kabore, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Tafo-Pankrono, who was instrumental in getting the computers for the school, appealed to the authorities to ensure the computers were used for academic work.
Mr Emmanuel Osei-Mensah, the Headmaster, said they were grateful to GIFEC for the gift.
He said one of the school's major challenges has to do with the lack of a means of transport and he appealed for assistance.
Established in year 2001 with 100 students, the population of the SHS now stands at 700.
