A supermodel's work is never done... The jet-setting lifestyle presents huge wardrobe challenges, because of course, a supermodel always needs to look fabulous! M-Net's Face of Africa (Saturdays at 5pm) takes a different
tack this week as our Top 12 Finalists prepare to jet off to Swahili Fashion Week in Dar Es Salaam as top stylists, makeup artists and our very
own Fashion Director Juanita Daniel teach you how to look like a star with only 7 items of clothing in your suitcase!
Our finalists have learnt everything from basic runway skills to tackling the challenges of cover-girl glamour - the new series of Face of Africa delves into it all. All the drama of becoming a top model is showcased in full color as some of the continent's rising runway stars head into a whole new world of high fashion, high pressure modeling. And now, it's your turn...
This week, in episode eight, presenter Kaone Kario teams up with Fashion Director Juanita Daniel, Face of Africa stylist Oratile Seabela, Iman Cosmetics Ambassador Nthato Mashishi, Face of Africa hair expert Xoli Katsio and the Dark & Lovely team to show you how to look fabulous enough for a night on the town in New York with the minimum of fuss!
Prepare to be amazed as the team shows you how to turn a business outfit into the ideal gear for a fabulously flashy night out, with just a few
small changes and how to get 6 outfits from just 7 items of clothing. They have a never-ending array of tricks up their sleeve as they even
demonstrate how to pack light for a fantastic cruise and dazzle from deck to disco.
While viewers are having their style tweaked and learning supermodel secrets, the Top 12 Face of Africa Finalists are preparing for Swahili
Fashion Week and biding their time in the hope of realizing their wildest fashion dreams at the series finale in Lagos in February 2010! The M-Net
Face of Africa 2009 will walk away with a modeling contract from O Model Africa, USD 50 000 in cash from M-Net, skincare products for 12 months from Iman Cosmetics and a trip to New York, courtesy of Arise Magazine, to participate in New York Fashion Week.
