Apostle Kadmiel Agbelenyoh, General Overseer of the Seventh-Day Church of Theocracy, has urged Christians to be tolerant of all shades of opinion and views to help promote peace and unity in the society.
"As Christians, we have the onerous responsibility to be peacemakers who should build bridges of understanding and reconciliation and leave no stone unturned to remove rancour and mistrust in our society".
Apostle Agbelenyoh was delivering a sermon at the Akim Oda branch of the church, also called "Shalom - Shalom" on Saturday.
The Apostle stressed that differences in views and opinions should not breed hatred or conflicts but rather promote community and national development.
He called on Christians to lead and champion the moral crusade, adding that Christians were meant to be symbols of life of absolute purity.
Apostle Agbelenyoh advised Christians to always lead disciplined and simple lives and said it was the only means by which they could influence others to join their fold.
A large congregation from six branches of the church from the Eastern and Central Regions attended the service, which was also used to say prayers for the sick and the upcoming December general elections.
