A philanthropist and participant of the second Kente Festival in Dallas Fort Worth, America has donated a Dell computer with accessories to Anglican Vocational Technical School in Accra to enhance teaching and learning there.
Mr. Wallace Agyei-Klu, who made the donation, said it followed his visit to the school's computer library, which revealed that most of the computers there were broken down thereby retarding teaching and learning.
Mr Agyei-Klu promised to restock the 30-computer capacity library of the school to ensure that students were well equipped to face the demands of the job market.
Venerable Edmund Tetteh, Director of the school was grateful to the donor for contributing to enhance teaching and learning in the school.
The Director gave the assurance that the equipment would be put to good use to ensure that it served the purpose for which it was provided.
He appealed to well meaning Ghanaians to come to the aid of the school.
Established in 1993, the school currently has over 250 student population and runs courses in carpentry, secretaryship, among others.
