Bishop James Yaw Ahenkorah, General Secretary of Church of the Lord Brotherhood, has urged the youth to entrust themselves into God's care and protection to help them grow into responsible adults.
Bishop Ahenkorah made the call at a thanks-giving service to round off the Ninth National Youth Convention of the Church at Mateheko in Accra at the weekend.
The four-day convention under the theme "You Shall Be Like A Tree Planted By The Rivers Of Water" was attended by more than 500 delegates nationwide.
Bishop Ahenkorah said the youth as future leaders, were expected to lead morally good and upright lives and advised them to desist from indulging in social vices that could ruin their lives.
On Election 2008, Bishop Ahenkorah urged the electorate to elect responsible leaders who would lead the nation into prosperity.
Apostle Jonathan Bekoe Atiemo, Accra Diocesan Head of the Church, asked religious leaders to pray for peaceful elections.
Mr Daniel Koranteng, Youth President, cautioned them to guard against indecent dressing, and urged them to exhibit high sense of moral discipline in their lives.
