We, at the Ghana Youth Manifesto Coalition (GYM), extends our congratulations to Mr. George Opare Addo on his appointment as the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment. We also applaud him for going through the vetting process successfully and being sworned in as the Minister for the sector.

We urge the Minister, Mr. George Opare Addo to always remember to prioritize youth-specific issues such as unemployment, inclusion in leadership and governance, health etc that are Region specific to ensure a balanced response to youth aspirations.

We urge him to continuously ensure that youth voices and needs are effectively addressed in the development of policies and programs.
