Sana Afouaiz, CEO and founder of Womenpreneur, noted that 46% of Ghanaian women in entrepreneurship face challenges like limited access to funding, technology, and qualified training. To address these issues, the tour collaborated with local ecosystems, including Djembe Consultants, Kosmos Innovation Center, ALX Ventures, and SANAD's Entrepreneurship Academy.

Nana Yaa Amarteifio, Chief Operating Officer at Djembe Consultants, emphasized the significance of initiatives like Womenpreneur Tour Africa in boosting women's representation in agritech and fintech. "Through Djembe Consultants' accelerator program, women entrepreneurs receive guidance on refining pitch decks, crafting compelling stories for investors, and securing grants,” she emphasized.

The event featured panel discussions, including "Empowering Female Entrepreneurs in Agritech and Fintech Sub-Saharan Africa" and "The Role of Financial Institutions in Fostering Women's Entrepreneurial Participation."

Three inspiring women entrepreneurs – Maame Abrema Quarm- Founder and CEO of Ladder, Hilary Adare- Agricultural Technology Innovator and Winnie Awinador from OZE– received the Womenpreneur Tour award.

By empowering women to scale their businesses, initiatives like Womenpreneur Tour Africa and Djembe Consultants' acceleration programs will drive meaningful change and foster a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ghana and beyond.
