The leadership of the Government and Hospital Pharmacists Association (GHOPSA) has urged its members to return to work after the association declared strike action last Friday.
This announcement follows the indefinite strike by public sector workers that began last Friday [July 5, 2024] in protest against the sale of SSNIT's 60 per cent stake in four hotels.
In a statement released on Monday, July 15, 2024, the association gave an assurance to the public to expect full pharmaceutical care services, starting tomorrow, July 16, 2024.
GHOPSA also urged the government to address the concerns raised by organised labour promptly. Additionally, the association expects SSNIT to adhere to their declaration regarding the sale.
