The 1978-year group of the Mfantsipim Old Boys Association has donated furniture to the school.
The items included 100 metal bunk beds and 200 mono desks.
The President of the year group, Captain Samuel Hanson Amissah Thompson, noted that the presentation was in celebration of their 50 years of their entering form one at the school.
He said the gesture was to give back to the school to complement its furniture needs, adding that they appreciated what the school did for them.
"The training we had in Mfantsipim School has helped us greatly and the gesture is to give back to the school,” he said.
He indicated that the 100 metal bunk beds would serve 200 students, and the 200 mono desks would go to improve the fireworks situation in the school to promote effective learning.
The president encouraged more year groups to continue to give back to the school saying, "if in life you are reaping the benefits of what Mfantsipim did for you, it is good to remember to give back to the school to help Mfantsipim maintain its name and its position as the premier school in Ghana”.
He also advised the students to study hard to get better grades to be able to achieve life aspirations.
The Headmaster of the school, Rev Ebenezer Aidoo, thanked the year group for the gesture saying it was timely.
"We will be able to have the students seated comfortably in the classrooms as we look forward to the government to provide more," he added.
He also appealed to the government to fulfill its promise of completing a new dormitory and classroom blocks, a dining hall and assembly hall for the school to further promote a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
