On September 24th, the 2022 GHPAC Golden Gala and Awards Symposium hosted by the Ghana Diaspora Public Affairs Collective will honor Ghanaian American appointed by President Biden to serve at the highest levels of the U.S. government as well as over 25 elected officials, community leaders, top professionals, and advocates that have exuded excellence and helped to bridge the diaspora.
The 2022 GHPAC Golden Gala and Awards Symposium will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C. ahead of the United States 51st Annual Legislative Conferences (ALC) of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Convention and will also honor members of Congress who are committed to focusing on policies that advance U.S.-Ghana diplomatic and bilateral trade relations as members of the inaugural Congressional Ghana Caucus.
The gala will include keynote remarks from Honorable Alan Kyerematen, Republic of Ghana's Trade and Industry Minister as well as the participation of renowned global leaders, leaders in community development, elected officials, diplomats, corporate leaders and clergy that represent the achievement of Ghanaians in the diaspora, work to advance the development of Ghana and/or issues impacting the African diaspora.
Ghana Diaspora Public Affairs Collective (GHPAC) was founded by Ghanaian - American public policy and business professionals focused on empowering Ghanaians in the diaspora and advancing U.S.-Ghana relations. We are committed to working collectively as Ghanaians, people of Ghanaian descent and friends of Ghana to encourage civic engagement and advance policies through research, education, and community building.
