Allianz Insurance, a subsidiary of the global insurance giant, Allianz Group, has launched a consumer-reward promotion dubbed ‘Allianz Cares’ to provide free branded first-aid kits to customers.
Being the first of its kind in Ghana’s insurance industry with the intent to promote emergency healthcare, the promotion will run from 17th September to 31st March 2022.
Under the new initiative, both new and existing customers who purchase a motor or home and personal accident insurance package from Allianz offices in Accra, Kumasi, Tema and Takoradi, will be provided with specially-branded kits containing medical supplies and other health essentials.
Speaking at the launch in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Insurance, Darlington Munhuwani, said the company is committed to keeping customers and communities safe even as businesses put measures in place to get back on their feet following the COVID-19 pandemic.
He explained that while the advent of the pandemic has had an adverse impact on commerce in general, the company received immense support from its customers, hence the decision to reward them by placing health and safety at the forefront of promotional activities.
“As a customer-centric brand that has operated in Ghana for over a decade, the voice of the customer informs what we do with regard to product features and overall services.”
“We go through our daily lives knowing well that health risks can occur, yet many don’t have first aid kits in their cars and homes. It’s time for every Ghanaian to own a first aid kit, and this is our contribution to this campaign. This will help save lives in emergency situations.”
“Our day-to-day interactions with customers have helped us to gather insights on their needs and how we can enhance their experience with the Allianz brand. This promotion is confirmation of Allianz’s dedication to the wellbeing of its customers.”
Through Allianz Cares, Mr. Munhuwani said the company will continue to raise awareness about health and safety as well as the importance of first aid as a critical lifesaving technique in emergency situations.
Allianz is the world’s number one insurance brand, present in over 70 countries including Ghana, which is among the 12 African countries where the company currently operates in on the continent.
