The Ghana Hotels Association is optimistic that with the successful patronage of the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination, business would pick up.
The President of the Association, Dr Edward Ackah-Nyamike said public anxiety against contracting the Covid-19 virus has directly affected hotel services as the industry survives on the movement of persons.
In an interview with GBC News, Dr. Ackah-Nyamike was hopeful that with massive turn out for the vaccination, people will have the confidence to move about freely.
On the Easter festivities and hotel patronage, Dr Ackah-Nyamike said traditionally, hotels in the cities do not see much in terms of room occupancy as most people travel home for family reunion.
This notwithstanding, he described as encouraging, extra activities organized by some hoteliers.
