The Electoral Commission (EC) has reviewed its decision to allow all staff to go on recess after the conduct of the 2020 elections.
Following the election, management of the EC decided to break for the festive season on December 23, and resume on Tuesday, January 19 next year.
However, in a statement issued on Wednesday, December 23, the Commission said the senior leadership and some key operational staff will continue to work but all field staff have been granted a break.
The break, according to the EC, is aimed at promoting efficiency whiles reducing staff and administrative costs.
