A very sad sad day in Ghana today. Our beloved former President, Flt Lt Jerry John Rawlings has died at the age of 73.

The whole country has been thrown into a state of shock especially when he was seen only a couple of weeks ago looking so strong at his dear mother's funeral.

All political campaign activities have been suspended and flags are flying at half mast.

May his dear soul rest in perfect peace.
